Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Manuel Brito took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fernando Assis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th match minute, SC Chamoim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Catarino Guarda to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Paredes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oliveira Antunes went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Manuel Brito struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Carlos Paredes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Murtais FC. After 22 played minutes SC Chamoim got a freekick which was hit by Catarino Guarda. When Francisco Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the SC Chamoim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Amaral couldn't finish the play. In the 28th match minute, Murtais FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. Filipe Correia missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 30 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the André Torres right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Delgado in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Torres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 47th minute, Catarino Guarda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Paredes having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Amaral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute of the match SC Chamoim got a corner. Murtais FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. David Barros ran over to the corner to take the kick. 59 minutes into the match, Murtais FC's goalkeeper André Torres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Delgado. In the 60th minute, Simão Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, SC Chamoim's goal looked a bit too open when Oliveira Antunes came free, but Carlos Paredes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Filipe Correia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Chamoim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Murtais FC the free kick. A collision led to SC Chamoim getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Filipe Correia hit a great ball. If Manuel Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in SC Chamoim's zone, Manuel Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Paredes came out of the goal and Manuel Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute Marco Delgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Murtais FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Fernando Assis hit a great ball. SC Chamoim's Marco Delgado got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee gave Murtais FC a penalty, 92 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Emanuel Aguiar, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Chamoim's Carlos Paredes. 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Delgado got free with André Torres in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manuel Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Paredes having to interfere.
