A collision led to SC Chamoim getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. David Barros hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amílcar Garcia in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Paredes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 8th minute Amílcar Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Chamoim's Carlos Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertino Coimbra in the 18th minute of play. Carlos Paredes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albertino Coimbra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Amílcar Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, SC Patusca's Albertino Coimbra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Paredes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Albertino Coimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amílcar Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Carlos Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Amaral might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquim Pinheiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Amaral ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 46th match minute, SC Chamoim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Delgado to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Gabriel Henriques kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Marco Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 63 played minutes SC Chamoim got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Correia. If Marco Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Amaral in the 75th minute of play forced SC Patusca's goalkeeper Joaquim Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amílcar Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Paredes having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, SC Chamoim's goalkeeper Carlos Paredes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albertino Coimbra. After 81 minutes, Paulo Pereira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Patusca and the SC Chamoim players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st minute, Paulo Pereira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Patusca's Joaquim Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Delgado in the 85th minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, Alexandre Delgado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Patusca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Chamoim the free kick. In the 94th minute, Alexandre Delgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Chamoim fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC Patusca had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
