The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Resende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tavilhao's goalkeeper Luís Magalhães, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 22 played minutes Cavaco FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Faria. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, José Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tavilhao's supporters rose to their feet, but José Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Cavaco FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Vasco Rodrigues hit a great ball. In the 28th minute of the match Armindo Pedroso shot from a long distance. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Brito made a kick off. Tavilhao's Gil Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafael Resende might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Magalhães. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafael Resende ran back to his position shaking his head. Fernando Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Resende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Tavilhao's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Xavier Brás fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cavaco FC's Rafael Resende got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafael Resende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. José Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando Amaral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Brito went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 88 played minutes Cavaco FC got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Esteves. Manuel Tavares hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Tavilhao's Luís Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavier Brás in the 93rd minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
