Vítor Coimbra hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Xavier Brás received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jorge Rodrigues came out and tried to block the shot, but Xavier Brás slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. Vítor Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Amaral having to interfere. Henrique Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Amaral having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, SC Concieiro's Henrique Brito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Amaral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Cavaco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Brito came free, but Fernando Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Vítor Coimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristiano Faria's late challenge caught a SC Concieiro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernando Amaral showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 34th minute, Vítor Coimbra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vítor Coimbra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Amaral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Brito in the 43rd minute of play forced Cavaco FC's goalkeeper Fernando Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Amaral came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Concieiro's Henrique Brito. But to his dismay, Henrique Brito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henrique Brito to strike the kick off in the second half. Jorge Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Resende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cavaco FC's Xavier Brás got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henrique Brito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Amaral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Rafael Resende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th match minute, SC Concieiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Paredes to maneuver through the defense. Xavier Brás recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Cavaco FC booed when SC Concieiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrique Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Cavaco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Brito came free, but Fernando Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd match minute, Cavaco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Brás to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vítor Coimbra got free with Fernando Amaral in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristiano Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The SC Concieiro players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
