Rodrigo Pinho's late challenge caught a Cavaco FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodrigo Pinho helped the player get up and apologised. Rodrigo Pinho hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Resende in the 24th minute of play forced SC Antes's goalkeeper Alfredo Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute Rafael Resende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Antes's Gonçalo Queirós slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fernando Amaral. That made the score 1-0 after 29 minutes of play. Fernando Amaral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gonçalo Queirós's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Gonçalo Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Amaral having to interfere. Fernando Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonçalo Queirós in the 42nd minute of the match. Cristiano Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Fernando Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Queirós in the 78th minute of play. Cristiano Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Leão having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Rafael Resende made a precise shot to the right of Alfredo Leão. SC Antes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.
