Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Humberto Branco started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Álvaro Pinho during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Escapaes's Álvaro Pinho got a free kick in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the match, SC Escapaes's goalkeeper Albertino Teixeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Amaral. 8 minutes into the match, Araxede FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeu Antunes came free, but Mariano Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júlio Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Araxede FC's zone, Pedro Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariano Pinho came out of the goal and Pedro Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albertino Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Branco in the 20th minute of play. Mariano Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Santos in the 25th minute of play. SC Escapaes's Albertino Teixeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save SC Escapaes from getting a goal against them. Humberto Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertino Teixeira having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Pedro Santos notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Araxede FC's Mariano Pinho. Mariano Pinho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of SC Escapaes booed when Araxede FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duarte Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Santos in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mariano Pinho saved Araxede FC from getting behind. With his leg Mariano Pinho managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when SC Escapaes's Amadeu Antunes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to SC Escapaes getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Júlio Pinheiro hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, SC Escapaes's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Amaral came free, but Albertino Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute of the match Araxede FC got a corner. SC Escapaes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rafael Dias ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Araxede FC's Rafael Dias to fire away a dangerous shot which Albertino Teixeira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Miguel Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Albertino Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute Humberto Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertino Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 82 minutes of play, Araxede FC's Miguel Amaral made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albertino Teixeira was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 85 played minutes Araxede FC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Tavares. SC Escapaes's Pedro Matos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 86th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Araxede FC. Pedro Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the SC Escapaes defense, Humberto Branco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albertino Teixeira. The SC Escapaes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albertino Teixeira should have stopped the shot. Humberto Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Albertino Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albertino Teixeira didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Araxede FC's Miguel Amaral shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Araxede FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Escapaes for a fine match.
