Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Simão Alves made the kick off which started today's match. Joaquim Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertino Teixeira having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, SC Escapaes's goal looked a bit too open when Simão Alves came free, but Albertino Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rui Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Santos in the 18th minute of play. If Simão Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Escapaes's Pedro Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albertino Teixeira came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Coito FC's Simão Alves. But to his dismay, Simão Alves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Rui Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Santos in the 36th minute of the match. Coito FC's Joaquim Paiva got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amadeu Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquim Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Santos to make the kick off. Albertino Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simão Alves in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão Alves in the 56th minute of play forced SC Escapaes's goalkeeper Albertino Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th match minute, SC Escapaes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Álvaro Pinho to maneuver through the defense. Joaquim Paiva struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Albertino Teixeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coito FC. Joaquim Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertino Teixeira having to interfere. Albertino Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simão Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Simão Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertino Teixeira having to interfere. Jorge Sousa lost his temper 77 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 77 minutes into the game, one of SC Escapaes:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Cristiano Pires shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Joaquim Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertino Teixeira having to interfere. Amadeu Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amadeu Antunes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rui Lopes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Joaquim Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Júlio Pinheiro's late challenge caught a Coito FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Júlio Pinheiro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SC Escapaes's Júlio Pinheiro got a free kick in the 96th minute. In the 97th minute, SC Escapaes's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Joaquim Paiva fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The Coito FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Coito FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
