Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albertino Amaro in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mário Trindade saved SC Tourigo from getting behind. Albertino Amaro scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mário Trindade, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Álvaro Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Mário Trindade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Fernandes in the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, Eusébio Vale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sousel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Tourigo the free kick. Eusébio Vale hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. When Alexandre Figueiredo came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the SC Tourigo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Figueiredo couldn't finish the play. After 25 played minutes Sousel got a freekick which was hit by Américo Costa. SC Tourigo's Cristiano Baptista got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Daniel Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Sousel were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Dias was the one to do the kick off. Daniel Fernandes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mário Trindade firmly grabbed it by the left post. 57 minutes into the game, SC Tourigo's Miguel Dias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lourenço Aguiar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Sousel's Lourenço Aguiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Dias in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sousel's Eusébio Vale got a free kick in the 63rd minute. António Moreira's late challenge caught a SC Tourigo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. António Moreira helped the player get up and apologised. Mário Trindade was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Albertino Amaro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Albertino Amaro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. When Sousel's Albertino Amaro in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Tourigo's goalie prevented a goal. If Miguel Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lourenço Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sousel's Cláudio Dantas got a free kick in the 88th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Fernandes got free with Mário Trindade in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sousel eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
