With a left leg Mário Trindade saved SC Tourigo from getting behind. António Resende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 15th minute, Alberto Dias reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mário Trindade. The goal made the score 1-0. After 17 played minutes SC Bernardes got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Freitas. Mário Trindade was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alberto Dias showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Hélder Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. António Resende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Dias in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute, Alberto Dias fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mário Trindade, passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in SC Tourigo's zone, Inácio Faria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mário Trindade came out of the goal and Inácio Faria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Inácio Faria struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Mário Trindade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Bernardes. In the 31st minute, Alexandre Figueiredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alexandre Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. António Resende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to SC Bernardes getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Fábio Leão hit a great ball. Alberto Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, SC Tourigo's goalkeeper Mário Trindade had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inácio Faria. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberto Dias to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Alberto Dias made a precise shot to the right of Mário Trindade. SC Tourigo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 60th play minute Alexandre Figueiredo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised António Resende. 3-1. SC Bernardes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nuno Freitas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of SC Bernardes's goalie and right to Amadeu Ramos. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. SC Bernardes's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 71st match minute, SC Bernardes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílcar Brito to maneuver through the defense. SC Tourigo's Nuno Freitas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Bernardes.
