Vítor Dias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Catarino Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vítor Dias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Catarino Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute, Sandro Cardoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vítor Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Catarino Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to SC Granjinha getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Francisco Nunes hit a great ball. In the 24th play minute Gaspar Ribeiro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cristóvão Valente. 1-1. Carlos Amaro charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Amaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SC Granjinha booed when Chancelaria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Amaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristóvão Valente was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Francisco Nunes. In the 29th minute, Carlos Amaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Sandro Cardoso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chancelaria FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. SC Granjinha's Vítor Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Catarino Cabral in the 37th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Catarino Cabral got free with Vítor Dias in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Emílio Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Catarino Cabral in the 60th minute of play forced SC Granjinha's goalkeeper Vítor Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vítor Dias made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Sandro Cardoso sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute, Gaspar Ribeiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Granjinha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Gaspar Ribeiro took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristóvão Valente. Cristóvão Valente dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 76th minute, Paulo Trindade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristóvão Valente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Ribeiro in the 80th minute of the match. In the 85th match minute, SC Granjinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Barros to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, one of SC Granjinha:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Granjinha. Fábio Pinto placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Catarino Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Dias having to interfere. Chancelaria FC's Cristóvão Valente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Ribeiro in the 98th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chancelaria FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Granjinha.
