Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Manuel Luz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Rui Oliveira came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Covelinhas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui Oliveira couldn't finish the play. Sérgio Lima's late challenge caught a Covelinhas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sérgio Lima helped the player get up and apologised. After 5 played minutes SC Cascalhal got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio Lima. Oliveira Assis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rui Oliveira went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Eduardo Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Luz in the 11th minute of play. SC Cascalhal's Manuel Luz got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oliveira Assis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Lisboa went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Oliveira Assis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Lisboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sérgio Lima was shown his second yellow card after 20 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, SC Cascalhal's Sérgio Lima got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute, Covelinhas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lucas Bessa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Covelinhas's Eduardo Reis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Covelinhas from getting a goal against them. Catarino Paiva's late challenge caught a Covelinhas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Catarino Paiva helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th minute, Catarino Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Rui Oliveira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oliveira Assis was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Lucas Bessa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rui Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliveira Assis having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, SC Cascalhal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Luz to maneuver through the defense. Oliveira Assis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The SC Cascalhal players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Covelinhas were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rui Oliveira to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Lucas Bessa managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Cascalhal's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Bessa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Reis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fernando Lisboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliveira Assis having to interfere. In the 55thth minute of the game Rui Oliveira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Cascalhal's Oliveira Assis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lucas Bessa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eduardo Reis having to make a save. Fernando Lisboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliveira Assis having to interfere. Manuel Luz's late challenge caught a Covelinhas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manuel Luz helped the player get up and apologised. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rui Oliveira in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oliveira Assis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Catarino Paiva got his second yellow card in the match during the 70th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 71 played minutes SC Cascalhal got a freekick which was hit by Catarino Paiva. Oliveira Assis made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Fernando Lisboa sent off a good shot on target. Fernando Lisboa scored 0-3 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oliveira Assis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77th match minute, Covelinhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Catarino Miranda to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Reis having to interfere. Eduardo Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Covelinhas's Eduardo Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Luz in the 84th minute of play. Lucas Bessa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Lisboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliveira Assis having to interfere. Covelinhas's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
