Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Afonso Faria made the kick off and thus started the match. Duarte Brito struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Carlos Paiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Assamaca. Joaquim Fonseca took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Paiva. Carlos Paiva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, SC Assamaca's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Faria came free, but Nuno Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Lopes charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Lopes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SC Assamaca booed when SC Arcozelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Brito in the 23rd minute of play. If Duarte Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Torres acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 28th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sandro Macedo. After a rather tough play, SC Arcozelo's Rui Lopes got a free kick in the 35th minute. SC Assamaca's Joaquim Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Duarte Brito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carlos Paiva made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Joaquim Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. Nuno Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Assamaca's Duarte Brito got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th match minute, SC Arcozelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Macedo to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute of the match SC Assamaca got a corner. SC Arcozelo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rogério Mendes ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Rogério Mendes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carlos Paiva quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. SC Assamaca's Joaquim Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Duarte Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Carlos Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Pedroso lost his temper 69 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 68 minutes into the game, one of SC Assamaca:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave SC Arcozelo a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rui Lopes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Assamaca's Nuno Torres. 1-2. Carlos Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diamantino Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Diamantino Melo came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the SC Assamaca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diamantino Melo couldn't finish the play. Rogério Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. It was beautiful to see SC Arcozelo's Rui Lopes in action when he in the 90th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Joaquim Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Carlos Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Faria in the 100th minute of play. SC Assamaca's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
