Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Arcozelo's Afonso Faria started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 5 minutes, Afonso Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Arcozelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, SC Arcozelo's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Rocha came free, but Carlos Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 11 minutes, Afonso Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The wind increased when Afonso Rocha made the kick off in the second half. Paulo Leiria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Lúcio Moutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Tavares scored 1-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lúcio Moutinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Afonso Rocha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Paiva was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. SC Carreco's Afonso Rocha suffered a sore thigh after 78 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Lopes during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Arcozelo! Cláudio Pedroso placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Afonso Faria struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Lúcio Moutinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Carlos Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heitor Moutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquim Moutinho took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Paiva. Carlos Paiva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 96 minutes into the game, SC Arcozelo's André Tavares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lúcio Moutinho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The SC Arcozelo players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
