The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Hugo Resende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. Feital FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Resende was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cândido Luz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricardo Leão charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Lúcio Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Cândido Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Resende in the 29th minute of the match. A collision led to Feital FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Hugo Resende hit a great ball. José Carvalho had several of the Feital FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 33 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Lúcio Marques as he didn't even see the shot coming. 38 minutes into the match, Feital FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Carvalho came free, but Lúcio Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cândido Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Resende in the 44th minute of play. Cândido Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Resende in the 45th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when José Carvalho made the kick off in the second half. Joel Pinho was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. A collision led to Feital FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Eduardo Freitas hit a great ball. Bencatel's Hugo Viana couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 65th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Feital FC. José Pires hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, Bencatel's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Bessa came free, but Cândido Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Araújo's late challenge caught a Feital FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Araújo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bencatel's Ricardo Araújo got a free kick in the 71st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bencatel's zone, Hugo Resende stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cândido Luz came out of the goal and Hugo Resende tried to chip the ball over his head. With a little luck, Bencatel's Cândido Luz got control of the ball when Hugo Resende tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Bencatel's Nuno Guerreiro in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Bencatel's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
