Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Raul Brito got the match started through his kick off. Emanuel Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute, Sandelgas FC's Raul Brito ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gustavo Baptista. Gustavo Baptista yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Sandelgas FC's Vasco Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Neves in the 14th minute of play. SC Safara were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Sandelgas FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marco Dantas took the corner. In the 19th minute Rui Lisboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasco Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rui Lisboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasco Costa having to interfere. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sandelgas FC's goalkeeper Vasco Costa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carlos Pedroso kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Gustavo Baptista came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Sandelgas FC's Emanuel Matos. But to his dismay, Emanuel Matos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduardo Machado during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 32 played minutes SC Safara got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Machado. Emanuel Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, one of SC Safara:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Safara. 45 minutes into the match, Sandelgas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Santarém came free, but Vasco Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Matos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Gustavo Baptista when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raul Santarém stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vasco Costa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rui Lisboa in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Matos in the 58th minute of play forced SC Safara's goalkeeper Gustavo Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustavo Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Brito in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to SC Safara getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Eduardo Machado hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Bernardo Valente made a precise shot to the right of Gustavo Baptista. SC Safara's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Raul Santarém received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Vasco Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Carlos Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd match minute, SC Safara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Guarda to maneuver through the defense. In the game's 83rd minute Sandelgas FC's Oliveira Matos took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Gustavo Baptista and thus the score was 5-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Raul Santarém managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Safara's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Santarém was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vasco Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vasco Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Santarém, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The supporters of SC Safara booed when Sandelgas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Valente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandelgas FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
