After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rui Pinho was the one to do the kick off. Manuel Brás took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raul Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Ramos in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Boizoes FC's Miguel Simões got a free kick in the 56th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Alexandre Correia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boizoes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Regada the free kick. In the 59th match minute, Boizoes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Correia to maneuver through the defense. Filipe Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Amaral having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Regada's Filipe Alves got a free kick in the 65th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Boizoes FC's Miguel Simões tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Fernando Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Brás having to interfere. After having played for 76 minutes, Simão Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Regada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simão Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Albertino Borba hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Boizoes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Ramos came free, but Raul Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rui Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Boizoes FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
