Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Corterredor's Afonso Marques started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Afonso Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. João Figueiredo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of SC Zimao booed when SC Corterredor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diogo Reis to make the kick off. Diogo Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Neto having to interfere. If Diogo Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diogo Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 64 minutes into the game, Diogo Reis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Rui Neto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
