Joaquim Maia might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gil Faria. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joaquim Maia ran back to his position shaking his head. A hard shot 7 in the game by Joaquim Maia from a close distance when the talented Gil Faria managed to make a qualified save. Urra's players were relieved. Gil Faria made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Joaquim Maia sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th minute João Setúbal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 played minutes Cantelaes FC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Paredes. Fernando Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Setúbal in the 21st minute of play. Joaquim Maia struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Gil Faria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cantelaes FC. Gil Faria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Paredes, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Gil Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Paredes in the 29th minute of play. If Hugo Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Urra's Gil Faria got control of the ball when Joaquim Maia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hugo Paredes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Gil Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Setúbal in the 41st minute of play forced Cantelaes FC's goalkeeper Fernando Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hugo Paredes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cantelaes FC were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Urra's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adolfo Tavares took the corner. The corner led to Cantelaes FC's Domingos Campos getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Cantelaes FC's goalkeeper Fernando Vale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Correia. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquim Paredes during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Urra's Augusto Correia came free and shot a quick shot against goal 65 minutes in the game, fortunately Fernando Vale had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 66th minute João Setúbal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 70 minutes, Joaquim Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cantelaes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Maia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gil Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Paredes in the 71st minute of play. Augusto Correia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Fernando Vale made a huge save. Fernando Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Setúbal, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. When Joaquim Maia came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Cantelaes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Maia couldn't finish the play. Cantelaes FC's Fernando Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Setúbal in the 79th minute of play. Fernando Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Setúbal in the 82nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Correia got free with Fernando Vale in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Urra booed when Cantelaes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Campos didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Vale having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Cantelaes FC's Hugo Paredes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gil Faria narrowly saved just below the crossbar. João Setúbal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Fernando Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Urra players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Cantelaes FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
