Jorge Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, João Setúbal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Augusto Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albertino Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Gil Faria made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Teixeira in the 36th minute. Afonso Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rui Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Branco in the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Gil Faria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 56thth minute of the game Afonso Marques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Urra's Gil Faria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67th minute, Augusto Correia fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rui Neto, passed just outside the right post. Afonso Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rui Neto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augusto Correia in the 74th minute. After a rather tough play, Urra's João Setúbal got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute Afonso Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandro Azevedo hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Ricardo Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Gil Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Urra supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Urra would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
