Joaquim Lopes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Daniel Pinto made a huge save. In the 8th minute Adelino Pedroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mário Fernandes fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Casconho FC's protests and gave Mário Fernandes a yellow card for diving instead. Mário Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. When Jacinto Gomes fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Mário Fernandes hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Alfredo Santarém sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Casconho FC's Afonso Neto didn't even have to move. Adelino Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Afonso Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adelino Pedroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Neto having to interfere. When Adelino Pedroso came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Mamotos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adelino Pedroso couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute, Joaquim Lopes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Pinto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 45 minutes, Joaquim Lopes made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Mamotos FC's Daniel Pinto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joaquim Lopes to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, João Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquim Lopes charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquim Lopes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58thth minute of the game Joaquim Lopes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mamotos FC's Daniel Pinto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Adelino Pedroso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mamotos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adelino Pedroso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonso Neto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adelino Pedroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adelino Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Afonso Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adelino Pedroso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Afonso Neto having to make a save. Joaquim Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Adelino Pedroso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mamotos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adelino Pedroso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casconho FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
