When Jacinto Gomes fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Casconho FC's protests and gave Jacinto Gomes a yellow card for diving instead. Jacinto Gomes hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 5 minutes into the match, Este FC's Armando Lima broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Casconho FC's Jaime Pacheco got a free kick in the 7th minute. Rui Magalhães came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Afonso Neto could save by the left post. Artur Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Casconho FC's goalkeeper Afonso Neto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rui Magalhães's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Afonso Neto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The nice shot from Rui Magalhães in the 16thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Afonso Neto had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquim Lopes in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armindo Teixeira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28th match minute, Este FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Delgado to maneuver through the defense. Joaquim Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armindo Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Delgado in the 35th minute of the match. Armindo Teixeira came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Casconho FC's Joaquim Lopes. But to his dismay, Joaquim Lopes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 48th minute, Artur Delgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Delgado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Rui Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Rogério Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Este FC's Armindo Teixeira got control of the ball when Joaquim Lopes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Afonso Neto came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Este FC's Rui Magalhães. But to his dismay, Rui Magalhães quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Miguel Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Teixeira having to interfere. After 82 minutes, André Valente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Este FC and the Casconho FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. André Valente hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Este FC's zone, Miguel Delgado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armindo Teixeira came out of the goal and Miguel Delgado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rogério Sá kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. If Rui Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mário Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. If Rui Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Casconho FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Este FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
