Domingos Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Afonso Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Casconho FC's Joaquim Lopes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquim Garcia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hugo Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 10 played minutes SC Macau got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Delgado. SC Macau's Joaquim Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Lopes in the 15th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, SC Macau's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Lopes came free, but Joaquim Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Afonso Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Delgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Paulo Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 22 played minutes Casconho FC got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Gomes. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Afonso Neto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Joaquim Dantas fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Macau's protests and gave Joaquim Dantas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Casconho FC booed when SC Macau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Dantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, SC Macau's Hugo Delgado got a free kick in the 28th minute. When Casconho FC's Joaquim Lopes in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Macau's goalie prevented a goal. 31 minutes into the match, SC Macau's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Lopes came free, but Joaquim Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquim Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, SC Macau's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Delgado came free, but Joaquim Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Garcia having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Domingos Neto got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 40th minute Hugo Delgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basílio Araújo hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Delgado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. SC Macau's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Miguel Delgado scored to the left of an out of position Joaquim Garcia, making the score, 0-1. With a little luck, SC Macau's Joaquim Garcia got control of the ball when Joaquim Lopes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joaquim Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Macau's Joaquim Dantas got his second yellow card of the match in the 64th minute. The referee ordered Joaquim Dantas off the ground. After 65 played minutes SC Macau got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Dantas. If Miguel Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miguel Delgado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquim Garcia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th match minute, SC Macau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Lopes to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, Casconho FC's Miguel Delgado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquim Garcia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hugo Delgado hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Domingos Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Basílio Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Joaquim Lopes came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Casconho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Lopes couldn't finish the play. Joaquim Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Delgado in the 96th minute of play.
