The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Xavier Garcia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joaquim Moura was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Artur Trindade showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 43 minute of play. SC Chancelaria's Joaquim Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavier Garcia in the 94th minute of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Alfredo Assunção managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espozende's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Assunção was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Xavier Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to SC Chancelaria getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Carlos Almeida hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Chancelaria players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Espozende.
