Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nuno Gueifão made the kick off which started today's match. Boaventura FC's António Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Tavares in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boaventura FC's goalkeeper António Moura, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Mariano Tavares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Afonso Pinheiro came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the SC Refugio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Pinheiro couldn't finish the play. A collision led to SC Refugio getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Artur Gaspar hit a great ball. Rogério Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Gueifão in the 21st minute of the match. Joel Setúbal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. António Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Mariano Tavares fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. António Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 28 played minutes Boaventura FC got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Melo. Mariano Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afonso Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. António Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 38 played minutes Boaventura FC got a freekick which was hit by Abel Amorim. Mariano Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Moura having to interfere. 48 minutes into the game, Nuno Gueifão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rogério Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Boaventura FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Tavares to strike the kick off in the second half. Rogério Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Gueifão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lourenço Campos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abel Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Rogério Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lourenço Campos succeeded in the game's 83rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. If Afonso Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. António Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonso Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Moura having to interfere. When Abel Amorim was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 94 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Boaventura FC's Abel Amorim got a free kick in the 95th minute. If Lourenço Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Boaventura FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Boaventura FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
