Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pedro Faro took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Refugio's goalkeeper Rogério Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Afonso Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute Alfredo Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Fetaes's Manuel Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Tavares in the 18th minute of play. Rogério Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredo Cabral went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Rogério Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Cabral in the 23rd minute of the match. After 26 played minutes, SC Fetaes's Alexandre Ribeiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rogério Amorim came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Fetaes reached it. SC Fetaes's Manuel Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Tavares in the 27th minute of play. If Afonso Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, SC Fetaes's goalkeeper Manuel Torres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afonso Pinheiro. The crowd rose to their feet as Mariano Tavares kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manuel Torres. That made the score 1-1 in the 32 minute of play. In the 39th minute, Pedro Faro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Afonso Pinheiro struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Manuel Torres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Refugio. In the 44th minute, Afonso Pinheiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Tavares to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonso Pinheiro in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Torres saved SC Fetaes from getting behind. 53 minutes into the match, SC Fetaes's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Pinheiro came free, but Manuel Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Tavares in the 54th minute of play. When Mariano Tavares came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the SC Refugio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Tavares couldn't finish the play. Afonso Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Torres having to interfere. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Refugio's goalkeeper Rogério Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of SC Fetaes booed when SC Refugio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasco Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Afonso Pinheiro struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Manuel Torres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Refugio. Armindo Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Alfredo Cabral might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rogério Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Cabral ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Refugio's goalkeeper Rogério Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rogério Amorim came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Fetaes's Alfredo Cabral. But to his dismay, Alfredo Cabral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Alfredo Cabrals short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Rogério Amorim to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Manuel Torres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Afonso Pinheiro went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 96th minute, Mariano Tavares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Refugio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. SC Refugio walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
