After 7 played minutes SC Pacos got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Paredes. A collision led to SC Pacos getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Jorge Vaz hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the game, Tartomil's Lucas Freitas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cláudio Cabral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Cláudio Cabral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas Freitas in the 22nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Tartomil's Américo Vieira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cláudio Cabral. That made the score 2-0 after 26 minutes of play. If Lucas Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Freitass short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Cláudio Cabral to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tartomil's André Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Maia in the 41st minute of play. When Tartomil's Américo Vieira in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Pacos's goalie prevented a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Lucas Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cláudio Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Américo Vieira in the 57th minute of play. Américo Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Cabral having to interfere. André Matos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. SC Pacos's Alexandre Maia got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nuno Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. André Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Nuno Simões left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Pacos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Alexandre Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. André Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristiano Vale hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. If Alexandre Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Pacos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
