Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Pacos's Alexandre Maia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jacinto Moreira struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Cláudio Cabral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Pocos. A collision led to SC Pocos getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. António Neto hit a great ball. When SC Pacos's Pedro Paredes in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Pocos's goalie prevented a goal. Cristóvão Barros hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 15 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when SC Pacos's Nuno Simões fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Cláudio Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Setúbal in the 23rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Setúbal in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cláudio Cabral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 26 minutes into the game, Pedro Paredes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Pacos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Pocos the free kick. After a rather tough play, SC Pacos's Pedro Paredes got a free kick in the 26th minute. Pedro Paredes kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute of the match Cristóvão Machado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cláudio Cabral showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jacinto Moreira might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cláudio Cabral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacinto Moreira ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Afonso Alves during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. SC Pocos's Fernando Setúbal got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luís Lopes came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Pacos's Alexandre Maia. But to his dismay, Alexandre Maia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Cláudio Cabral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Setúbal in the 52nd minute. The supporters of SC Pocos booed when SC Pacos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Campos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute Alexandre Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of SC Pacos booed when SC Pocos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristóvão Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 62 minutes, Nuno Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Pacos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuno Simões was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Alexandre Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Pacos's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandre Maia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Lopes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nuno Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Lopes having to interfere. In the 81st minute Nuno Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Maia in the 86th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Alexandre Maia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SC Pacos's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
