Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nuno Magalhães started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, SC Estradas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Correia to maneuver through the defense. Mariano Nunes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristiano Moutinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Teixeira in the 9th minute of play forced Barrancosas's goalkeeper Carlos Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Cruz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abel Teixeira in the 12th minute. The supporters of SC Estradas booed when Barrancosas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Delgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacinto Fernandes hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. SC Estradas's Jorge Abreu broke free in the 20th minute of the match and struck a powerful long shot that almost became a goal, but instead the ball went outside the right post. An obvious chance of a goal. After 21 minutes, Ricardo Delgado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barrancosas and the SC Estradas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ricardo Delgado kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Abel Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Cruz having to interfere. SC Estradas's Nuno Magalhães got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SC Estradas's Cristiano Moutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Resende in the 30th minute of play. Cristiano Moutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Nunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 32 played minutes SC Estradas got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Correia. Abel Resende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 37 minutes, Abel Resende managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrancosas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Resende was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Barrancosas's Mariano Nunes got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vítor Torres, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Abel Resende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Nunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abel Resende to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Nuno Magalhães put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Carlos Cruz. Nuno Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Mariano Nunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Cristiano Moutinho made a huge save. After 71 minutes of play, SC Estradas's Nuno Magalhães made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Cruz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mariano Nunes came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cristiano Moutinho could save by the left post. Cristiano Moutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Resende in the 84th minute of play. Abel Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Cruz having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Barrancosas's zone, Abel Teixeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Cruz came out of the goal and Abel Teixeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Magalhães in the 94th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Barrancosas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Estradas.
