SC Tagilde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xavier Melo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. José Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. A collision led to Jancido getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Daniel Gonçalves hit a great ball. In the 29thth minute of the game Xavier Melo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jancido's José Silva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 31 minutes into the match, SC Tagilde's Vicente Maia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Silva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vicente Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xavier Melo in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Silva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Xavier Melo sped through Jancido's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of José Silva. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Emanuel Sousa took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Henrique Amaral to make any attempt to save it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Sousa made a kick off. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Xavier Melo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jancido's José Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Maia in the 61st minute of play. Jorge Martins hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute Viriato Lisboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vicente Maia took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Silva. José Silva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. SC Tagilde's Henrique Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Sousa in the 87th minute of play.
