Cabecao FC's Gonçalo Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Gueifão in the 4th minute of play. In the 5thth minute of the game Paulo Silva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Fradeira's Alexandre Simões was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gonçalo Santos made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Artur Viegas sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to SC Fradeira getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Sérgio Mota hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, SC Fradeira's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Matias came free, but Alexandre Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandre Simões stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Silva's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Nuno Gueifão managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Fradeira's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Gueifão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonçalo Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 18 played minutes Cabecao FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Pinho. The supporters of SC Fradeira booed when Cabecao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute Paulo Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Fradeira's Alexandre Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Silva in the 29th minute of play. Alexandre Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Matias, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Cabecao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Gueifão came free, but Gonçalo Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 43 minutes, Artur Viegas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Fradeira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artur Viegas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gonçalo Santos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nuno Gueifão showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 46 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Silva made a kick off. In the 53rd of the match, Paulo Silva tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Alexandre Simões got in the way and made a wonderful save. Paulo Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Simões having to interfere. Gonçalo Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sérgio Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nuno Gueifão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Santos having to interfere. Alexandre Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Silva in the 70th minute of play. SC Fradeira's Artur Viegas got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cabecao FC's Gonçalo Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Gueifão in the 88th minute of play. The referee gave Cabecao FC a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Duarte Viana, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Fradeira's Alexandre Simões. 1-1. Sérgio Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Gonçalo Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cabecao FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though SC Fradeira had controlled the match.
