Rafael Vaz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 6 played minutes SC Adorigo got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Ramos. In the 7th minute, Vicente Mota ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jorge Nunes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Joaquim Ramos was shown his second yellow card after 11 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Joaquim Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Jorge Nunes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo Mota's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Vicente Mota struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Jorge Nunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arcos FC. SC Adorigo's Jorge Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Mota in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Adorigo's goalkeeper Jorge Nunes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ricardo Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Mota in the 32nd minute of the match. Ricardo Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Nunes having to interfere. Vicente Mota struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Jorge Nunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arcos FC. The Arcos FC fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Arcos FC's Ricardo Mota looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 48 minutes into the match, SC Adorigo's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Mota came free, but Jorge Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Arcos FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Vicente Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Jorge Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, SC Adorigo's Jorge Nunes got control of the ball when Vicente Mota tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th minute, Ricardo Mota reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jorge Nunes. The goal made the score 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in SC Adorigo's zone, Vicente Mota stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Nunes came out of the goal and Vicente Mota tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Vicente Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 played minutes SC Adorigo got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Alves. After a defensive mix-up in Arcos FC's zone, Bruno Setúbal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Vaz came out of the goal and Bruno Setúbal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hélder Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafael Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Setúbal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Adorigo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Vicente Mota might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorge Nunes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vicente Mota ran back to his position shaking his head. The SC Adorigo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Arcos FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Arcos FC.
