Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when João Garcia got free with Carlos Leite in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Albertino Faro hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Gonçalo Jesus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esmolfe's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonçalo Jesus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Leite breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If João Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Garcia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Carlos Leite skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cristiano Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Viana having to interfere. A collision led to Esmolfe getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. João Dantas hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiago Ramos in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gil Viana saved Esmolfe from getting behind. Esmolfe's Luís Pacheco got his second yellow card of the match in the 23rd minute. The referee ordered Luís Pacheco off the ground. After 23 played minutes Esmolfe got a freekick which was hit by Luís Pacheco. Basílio Tavares took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gil Viana. Esmolfe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tiago Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esmolfe's Gil Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Delgado in the 28th minute of play. Gil Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Ramos in the 34th minute of the match. Cristiano Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Viana having to interfere. Cristiano Delgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tiago Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Viana having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After having played for 65 minutes, Cristiano Delgado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Nozelos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Delgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gonçalo Jesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Tiago Ramos came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the SC Nozelos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiago Ramos couldn't finish the play. 76 minutes into the match, Esmolfe's goalkeeper Gil Viana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiago Ramos. João Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gonçalo Jesus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Leite read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. After 85 played minutes SC Nozelos got a freekick which was hit by Albertino Faro. Cristiano Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Viana having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Nozelos eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
