Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) José Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Machado in the 3rd minute of the match. Artur Santarém's late challenge caught a Cerquedo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Artur Santarém helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Sobradinho FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cerquedo FC:s goal. Tiago Matos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pedro Vale firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Sobradinho FC's Pedro Vale got control of the ball when Tiago Matos tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sobradinho FC's zone, Tiago Matos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Vale came out of the goal and Tiago Matos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Sobradinho FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. António Pedroso hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Francisco Machado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Paiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Tiago Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Vale having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Baptista in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Vale saved Sobradinho FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Cerquedo FC's Rogério Cardoso got a free kick in the 44th minute. Eusébio Figueiredo, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexandre Fontes made a kick off. The long shot by Artur Santarém in the 51st minute really tested José Paiva's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Viriato Moreiras short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got José Paiva to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rui Almeida's late challenge caught a Cerquedo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rui Almeida helped the player get up and apologised. 62 minutes into the match, Cerquedo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Machado came free, but José Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65thth minute of the game Viriato Moreira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cerquedo FC's José Paiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67th minute, Viriato Moreira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sobradinho FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 71 minutes into the match, Cerquedo FC's goalkeeper José Paiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viriato Moreira. José Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Machado in the 79th minute of play. If Tiago Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Rui Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute of the match Daniel Pinheiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Vale showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 95th minute, Francisco Machado fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of José Paiva, passed just outside the right post. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
