Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jorge Martins got the match started through his kick off. Jaime Coimbra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Carlos Brás recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mariano Soares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Fábio Assunção made a huge save. 21 minutes into the match, Cendufe FC's Jorge Martins sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fábio Assunção narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Jorge Martins fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fábio Assunção, passed just outside the right post. Carlos Brás might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jaime Coimbra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Brás ran back to his position shaking his head. Fábio Assunção made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Soares in the 29th minute. Vasco Queirós's late challenge caught a Cendufe FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vasco Queirós helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ruival's Vasco Queirós got a free kick in the 34th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Cendufe FC's Jorge Martins sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fábio Assunção narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Brás in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaime Coimbra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xavier Azevedo to make the kick off. Jaime Coimbra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Azevedo in the 51st minute of play. Cendufe FC's Rui Leite suffered a sore foot after 54 minutes and couldn't finish the game. David Lisboa charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Lisboa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 56 played minutes, Cendufe FC's Américo Coimbra shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fábio Assunção came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cendufe FC reached it. Mariano Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio Assunção having to interfere. If Carlos Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jaime Coimbra made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Carlos Brás sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier Azevedo in the 68th minute of play forced Cendufe FC's goalkeeper Jaime Coimbra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaime Coimbra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xavier Azevedo's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. A collision led to Cendufe FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Diogo Resende hit a great ball. After having played for 73 minutes, Xavier Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ruival's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xavier Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Ruival's Xavier Azevedo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jaime Coimbra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Diogo Resende kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Ruival were awarded a corner. Armindo Macedo went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Sebastião Castro heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When Sebastião Domingues fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ruival's protests and gave Sebastião Domingues a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th minute, Sebastião Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mariano Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio Assunção having to interfere. Carlos Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Coimbra having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
