Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vasco Esteves started the match with the kick off. Manuel Borges might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delfim Amaral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manuel Borges ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 5thth minute of the game Manuel Borges who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Telhal's Delfim Amaral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fábio Coimbra hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Delfim Amaral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nuno Mota's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. The supporters of SC Telhal booed when Lombos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Guarda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vasco Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Manuel Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Nuno Mota dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Delfim Amaral, 1-0. Manuel Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Lombos FC booed when SC Telhal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Tavares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lombos FC's Nuno Mota got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Vasco Esteves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute, Nuno Mota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nuno Mota to strike the kick off in the second half. Cláudio Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Vasco Esteves, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 54 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Manuel Garcia was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 56th minute Vasco Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, SC Telhal's Cláudio Freitas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Garcia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 77th minute, Nuno Mota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Delfim Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Borges in the 81st minute of play. Nuno Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim Amaral having to interfere. Delfim Amaral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nuno Mota went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Delfim Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Manuel Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Borges in the 95th minute of play forced SC Telhal's goalkeeper Delfim Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute Nuno Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lombos FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
