Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bernardo Oliveira took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alexandre Leiria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Filipe Assis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Peninha FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Manuel Viegas hit a great ball. The supporters of Espadaneira booed when Peninha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lúcio Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Espadaneira's Hélder Santarém tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Oliveira in the 17th minute of play forced Espadaneira's goalkeeper Filipe Assis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Viriato Barros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lourenço Amaral was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Barros in the 32nd minute of play forced Peninha FC's goalkeeper Lourenço Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Peninha FC booed when Espadaneira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viriato Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Lourenço Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Bernardo Oliveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacinto Branco to make the kick off. Espadaneira's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hélder Santarém in the 54th minute. After taking down the ball on Espadaneira's corner Hélder Santarém fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lourenço Amaral quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Jacinto Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espadaneira's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Branco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lourenço Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexandre Leiria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viriato Barros got free with Lourenço Amaral in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacinto Branco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lourenço Amaral came out and tried to block the shot, but Jacinto Branco slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 74th minute. Alexandre Leiria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexandre Leiria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 84th minute, Bernardo Oliveira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peninha FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 88thth minute of the game Joaquim Azevedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peninha FC's Lourenço Amaral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Espadaneira walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
