David Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 2nd match minute, SC Pracais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Costa to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute, Gil Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Américo Resende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Luís Amaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, André Araújo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Álvaro Vaz during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Azinhalinho FC booed when SC Pracais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Álvaro Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Eusébio Cunha fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of André Freitas, passed just outside the right post. After 19 played minutes SC Pracais got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Pereira. Augusto Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, SC Pracais's David Costa got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, André Araújo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lourenço Coelho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for André Freitas. SC Pracais's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Augusto Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Amaro having to interfere. After having played for 43 minutes, André Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Azinhalinho FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Araújo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eusébio Cunha received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. André Freitas came out and tried to block the shot, but Eusébio Cunha slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 45th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Américo Resende stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Américo Resende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Augusto Dantas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luís Amaro. The goal made the score 2-1. In the 65th minute, SC Pracais's Américo Resende ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luís Amaro. Luís Amaro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Luís Amaro made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Augusto Dantas sent off a good shot on target. André Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusébio Cunha in the 80th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Azinhalinho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Américo Resende came free, but Luís Amaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Amaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Américo Resende in the 95th minute of play. Azinhalinho FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
