With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vasco Fonseca in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Freitas saved SC Pracais from getting behind. Gaspar Ramos struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. André Freitas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crucifixo. Américo Resende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Augusto Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Pracais's Américo Resende got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 20 minutes, Augusto Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Pracais's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Dantas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Afonso Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Paredes in the 24th minute of the match. André Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Ramos in the 34th minute of play. Crucifixo's Vasco Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Gaspar Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crucifixo's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaspar Ramos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Freitas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. José Paredes hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Afonso Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Américo Resende, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. A collision led to Crucifixo getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Alfredo Amaral hit a great ball. With a little luck, Crucifixo's Afonso Barbosa got control of the ball when Augusto Dantas tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Augusto Dantas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of SC Pracais booed when Crucifixo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Jesus didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vasco Fonseca to strike the kick off in the second half. Afonso Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Américo Resende in the 54th minute of the match. Álvaro Vaz's late challenge caught a Crucifixo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
