Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Bajanca FC's Armindo Aguiar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Armindo Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. André Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute of the match, Américo Resende tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Delfim Veiga saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Augusto Dantas succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 11th playminute. Delfim Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Américo Resende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th match minute, SC Pracais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Costa to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute Eusébio Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armindo Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, David Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Augusto Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Pracais's André Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Pinheiro in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Bajanca FC's Armindo Aguiar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Freitas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Américo Resende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Américo Resende was extremely unlucky when he, in the 36th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 38thth minute of the game Américo Resende who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bajanca FC's Delfim Veiga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Augusto Dantas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute Américo Resende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armindo Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. André Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Américo Resende made a kick off. Augusto Dantas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 53 minutes into the match, Bajanca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Américo Resende came free, but Delfim Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Américo Resende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim Veiga having to interfere. When Eduardo Silva fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bajanca FC's protests and gave Eduardo Silva a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bajanca FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Eduardo Silva hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Pracais's goalkeeper André Freitas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eusébio Pinheiro scored 1-2 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of André Freitas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Costa during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 88 played minutes SC Pracais got a freekick which was hit by David Costa. After a defensive mix-up in SC Pracais's zone, Mariano Soares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Freitas came out of the goal and Mariano Soares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Augusto Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bajanca FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
