Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paulo Azevedo started the match with the kick off. Manuel Leal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alberto Bessa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Brás having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Almeida in the 7th minute of play forced Fouto's goalkeeper Luís Brás to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Fouto booed when SC Torrinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to SC Torrinha getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Jorge Matias hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Manuel Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Torrinha's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Almeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Brás breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manuel Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paulo Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Eusébio Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute SC Torrinha were awarded a corner. Paulo Antunes went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Alberto Bessa heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Luís Brás stood somewhat misplaced when Manuel Almeida came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 30 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Almeida in the 34th minute of play forced Fouto's goalkeeper Luís Brás to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute of the match Armando Oliveira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eusébio Mendes skillfully saved the ball. In the 37th minute Paulo Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The wind increased when Manuel Almeida made the kick off in the second half. Domingos Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 54 minutes of play, SC Torrinha's Alberto Bessa made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Brás was left in no man's land by his defense there! Armando Oliveira was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 58 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Fouto:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Torrinha:s goal. The referee gave SC Torrinha a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Paulo Antunes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fouto's Luís Brás. 3-0. Luís Brás took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Brás made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Almeida in the 65th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Alberto Bessa managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Torrinha's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Bessa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Brás breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, SC Torrinha's Eusébio Mendes got control of the ball when Manuel Leal tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute, Alberto Bessa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jorge Matias kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Paulo Azevedo hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Paulo Antunes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Fouto's Luís Brás didn't even have to move. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Torrinha fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fouto had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
