Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Domingos Guarda kicked off to start the match. A collision led to SC Silgueiros getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Raul Ferreira hit a great ball. In the 10thth minute of the game Domingos Guarda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Athayde's Artur Guerreiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When António Viegas came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the SC Athayde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that António Viegas couldn't finish the play. After 12 played minutes SC Silgueiros got a freekick which was hit by André Neves. After 14th play minutes Diamantino Correia shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Eusébio Leal and just under the crossbar into goal. After 16 played minutes SC Athayde got a freekick which was hit by Diamantino Correia. In the 22nd minute of the match João Gueifão sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Artur Guerreiro skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, SC Athayde's Xavier Leite got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The audience was convinced that Jorge Macedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artur Guerreiro was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Xavier Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, António Viegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 played minutes, SC Silgueiros's João Gueifão shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Artur Guerreiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Silgueiros reached it. José Moreira hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Jorge Macedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd match minute, SC Silgueiros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. Diamantino Correia might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eusébio Leal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diamantino Correia ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amadeu Guerreiro made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Vasco Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, SC Silgueiros's goal looked a bit too open when Diamantino Correia came free, but Eusébio Leal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artur Guerreiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Guarda in the 63rd minute of play. Jorge Macedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diamantino Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Leal having to interfere. After some careless play in the SC Silgueiros defense, Amadeu Guerreiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eusébio Leal. The SC Silgueiros fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eusébio Leal should have stopped the shot. SC Athayde's Diamantino Correia got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Diamantino Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusébio Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu Guerreiro in the 85th minute of play. If Jorge Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Domingos Guarda was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 88th minute. SC Silgueiros's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Diamantino Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Eusébio Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Silgueiros players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Athayde.
