Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Fujados's Delfim Assis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Delfim Assis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Leal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raul Ferreira hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the SC Silgueiros defense, Delfim Assis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eusébio Leal. The SC Silgueiros fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eusébio Leal should have stopped the shot. In the 11th minute, SC Silgueiros's Domingos Guarda dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Fujados's Alberto Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Guarda in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to Fujados getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Jorge Marques hit a great ball. Alberto Fontes was a little too slow when Domingos Guarda got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 21st match minute, SC Silgueiros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Teixeira to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Delfim Assis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28thth minute of the game José Barros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Silgueiros's Eusébio Leal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Fujados's goalkeeper Alberto Fontes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Macedo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeu Vale in the 39th minute of play forced SC Silgueiros's goalkeeper Eusébio Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fujados's Amadeu Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fujados's Alberto Fontes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Fujados from getting a goal against them. Alberto Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Guarda in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domingos Guarda made a kick off. Domingos Guarda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alberto Fontes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute Delfim Assis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Leal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Domingos Guarda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Alberto Fontes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of SC Silgueiros booed when Fujados was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingos Guarda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Fontes having to interfere. Fujados's Alberto Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Macedo in the 67th minute of play. Alberto Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Macedo in the 70th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Jorge Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Silgueiros's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Macedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Fontes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 80 minutes into the match, SC Silgueiros's goalkeeper Eusébio Leal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amadeu Vale. If Amadeu Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Fujados booed when SC Silgueiros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasco Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Fujados's António Jesus broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Amadeu Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Silgueiros's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
