Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vasco Borges kicked off to start the match. 7 minutes into the game, one of Toural:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Alfredo Valente had in the 9thth minute some difficulties stopping Delfim Magalhães's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Joaquim Paredes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Toural's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Almargem FC the free kick. In the 14th match minute, Toural was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Paredes to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd match minute, Toural was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. Almargem FC's Rodrigo Baptista pulled a muscle in his leg after 24 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Manuel Aguiar charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Aguiar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Toural getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Manuel Aguiar hit a great ball. Amadeu Henriques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. António Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vasco Borges in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg António Costa saved Almargem FC from getting behind. Miguel Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. António Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeu Henriques, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After having played for 45 minutes, Vasco Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Toural's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vasco Borges was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Nascimento was the one to do the kick off. Vasco Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Costa having to interfere. Toural's Alfredo Valente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Nascimento in the 55th minute of play. Amadeu Henriques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Almargem FC's António Costa got control of the ball when Amadeu Henriques tried to sneak it across the goal line. Almargem FC's António Costa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Almargem FC from getting a goal against them. After 74 played minutes Almargem FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Neto. Toural's Amadeu Henriques got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 80 minutes, Amadeu Henriques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Toural's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeu Henriques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 80 played minutes Almargem FC got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Viana. In the 82nd of the match, Vasco Borges tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but António Costa got in the way and made a wonderful save. Almargem FC's António Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasco Borges in the 86th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Manuel Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Almargem FC's Miguel Nascimento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredo Valente narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Miguel Nascimento struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Alfredo Valente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almargem FC. Almargem FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
