Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Emílio Lima took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Júlio Morais came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Povoacao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júlio Morais couldn't finish the play. In the 8th minute, Júlio Morais left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Povoacao fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Gaspar Miranda was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emílio Lima showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 13 minute of play. Alexandre Machado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Gaspar Miranda made a huge save. Povoacao's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Emílio Lima scored to the left of an out of position Gaspar Miranda, making the score, 2-1. In the 24th minute, Alexandre Machado made a precise shot to the right of Gaspar Miranda. Povoacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Armindo Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to SC Trindade getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Jorge Correia hit a great ball. Afonso Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armindo Luz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Júlio Morais went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Emílio Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Miranda having to interfere. Alexandre Machado struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Gaspar Miranda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Trindade. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Júlio Morais managed to get in a good position for a shot. Povoacao's supporters rose to their feet, but Júlio Morais was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armindo Luz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Afonso Faria was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Povoacao's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Machado came free, but Gaspar Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandre Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Gaspar Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Gaspar Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexandre Machado in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaspar Miranda saved Povoacao from getting behind. Afonso Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afonso Faria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armindo Luz having to make a save. Afonso Faria received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Armindo Luz came out and tried to block the shot, but Afonso Faria slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 82nd minute. Alexandre Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel Ramos charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Ramos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 97th minute SC Trindade were awarded a corner. Viriato Mota went to the cornerflag to take it. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Emílio Lima advanced and headed the ball into goal, 4-3 in the 97th minute.
