João Assunção's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gontinhais's Afonso Paiva got a free kick in the 88th minute. António Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Mendes in the 96th minute of play. SC Seca walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
