Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when André Mendes got the match started through his kick off. When David Moura came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Perdigao FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Moura couldn't finish the play. In the 6th match minute, Perdigao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Anjos to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Mendes in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Américo Reis saved Perdigao FC from getting behind. SC Seca's André Mendes got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Américo Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Mendes in the 14th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Perdigao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Luz came free, but Américo Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Américo Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the game, André Mendes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Américo Reis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sebastião Pires's late challenge caught a Perdigao FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastião Pires helped the player get up and apologised. Sebastião Pires hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Daniel Cunha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Perdigao FC booed when SC Seca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Cunha in the 32nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Moura during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th minute Daniel Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Cunha scored 1-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. David Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Daniel Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Perdigao FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Américo Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Mendes in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Cunha to make the kick off. Diogo Mendes's late challenge caught a SC Seca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diogo Mendes helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, Perdigao FC's Américo Reis got control of the ball when Ricardo Luz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mário Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SC Seca's zone, David Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Amorim came out of the goal and David Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricardo Luz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Américo Reis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Ricardo Luzs short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Américo Reis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 70 minutes into the match, Perdigao FC's goalkeeper Américo Reis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by André Mendes. In the 72nd minute, Sandro Bessa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Cunha in the 80th minute of play forced SC Seca's goalkeeper Luís Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd match minute, SC Seca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Bessa to maneuver through the defense. Luís Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Cunha's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Ricardo Luz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Américo Reis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
