Jorge Vaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Amaro in the 21st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emílio Borba during the 26th minute. Alhoes's players were relieved. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Ceiroco's goalkeeper Jorge Vaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gaspar Faria struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. André Gueifão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Ceiroco.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Amaro was the one to do the kick off.
