In the 9th match minute, Almofala FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Jesus to maneuver through the defense. Mariano Oliveira charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mariano Oliveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th minute, Mariano Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mariano Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 14 minutes, Rui Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Rabuide's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Pinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mariano Porto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute, Rui Pinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jacinto Guarda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Mariano Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Guarda having to interfere. Jacinto Guarda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Porto went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 31st minute, Mariano Porto made a precise shot to the right of Jacinto Guarda. Almofala FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The audience was convinced that Lúcio Silva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nuno Gonçalves was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Américo Cunha charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Américo Cunha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fernando Pacheco shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Lúcio Silva made the kick off in the second half. Nuno Gonçalves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lúcio Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th of the match, Lúcio Silva tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Nuno Gonçalves got in the way and made a wonderful save. Mariano Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 60 minutes into the match, SC Rabuide's goalkeeper Nuno Gonçalves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Oliveira. Mariano Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Nuno Gonçalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The SC Rabuide fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when SC Rabuide's Mariano Porto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mariano Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Gonçalves having to interfere. Mariano Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Jacinto Guarda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cristiano Jesus fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Almofala FC's protests and gave Cristiano Jesus a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute, Cristiano Jesus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto Guarda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Porto in the 83rd minute of play. Almofala FC's Jacinto Guarda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Nogueira in the 89th minute of play. Mariano Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Guarda having to interfere. After 91 minutes, Hélder Cardoso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Almofala FC and the SC Rabuide players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 93 minutes, Mariano Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Rabuide's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Porto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, SC Rabuide's goalkeeper Nuno Gonçalves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Oliveira. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SC Rabuide had played much better football throughout.
