Alexandre Leiria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Esteves having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Moreira in the 17th minute of play forced Sanguinho's goalkeeper Viriato Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandre Leiria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Gustavo Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viriato Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Moreira in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Sanguinho's Alexandre Leiria sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustavo Esteves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Alexandre Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basílio Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Esteves having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Franzina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Basílio Moreira came free, but Gustavo Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viriato Ferreira was a little too slow when Joaquim Moreira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 2-0. Gustavo Esteves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexandre Leiria went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joaquim Moreira was the one to do the kick off. After 55 minutes, Pedro Mota mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Franzina FC and the Sanguinho players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Franzina FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Esteves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Viriato Ferreira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Amorim went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 71st minute, Joaquim Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Basílio Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sanguinho's Basílio Moreira, in the 77th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Sanguinho. Viriato Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Amorim in the 83rd minute of play. A collision led to Sanguinho getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Gil Viana hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Sanguinho's Bernardo Mota got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute, Joaquim Moreira made a precise shot to the right of Viriato Ferreira. Sanguinho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Sanguinho's Viriato Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Amorim in the 93rd minute of play. If Gustavo Moutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franzina FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sanguinho for a fine match.
