But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amílcar Viana couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fábio Macedo in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Simões prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Bornes FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Roussas's performance. The match ended with a win for Roussas.
